The private sea hut is located in the Rust Bay and can be reached via a wooden footbridge (even without a boat). The reed-roofed lake hut is around 38 m² in size and stands on an approximately 100 m² wooden plateau directly in the water of Lake Neusiedl. It is a so-called pile dwelling. Overall, the Lake hut bookable for a maximum of 4 people, whereby the space is limited by the tent shape of the roof. But anyway, life mostly takes place outdoors. The romantic chalet is fully equipped with mosquito protection screens and offers you air conditioning and heating.
The holiday home "Sonnendeck" has a ground floor, separate bedroom with a double bed. The other two double beds (with mattresses, for reasons of space there is no full bed with legs and bed main) are romantically located directly under the roof of the cottage and can be reached with a ladder. The beds are therefore not recommended for people with limited mobility.
Glamping - back to nature.
There is a small kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine. Toilet and bathroom with sink are in the cottage. For showering, we have - in glamping style - an outdoor shower with hot water, where you can shower outdoors. Please note that the shower and size of the hut, despite everything, are more reminiscent of a sailing or camping holiday and the space in the hut is quite limited.
If you book such a holiday, you are consciously booking the reduced and simple and not a luxury holiday. The setup for the Seehütte Neusiedlersee By the way, we discovered all over the world. Old teak benches from Bali, a beautiful chest from India and a wonderful dining table that comes from an old wine cellar in Burgenland.
Electric boat included - throughout your holiday.
In front of the hut there is an electric boat at its own boat dock, with which you can make romantic trips on Lake Neusiedl. With the boat you go through an idyllic waterway directly onto Lake Neusiedl. Our license-free electric boat is available to you free of charge throughout your stay.
There is a spacious swimming area in front of the hut, although the entire lake is not very deep. A large sun deck with cushioned cushions invites you to sunbathe and relax. In addition to the large dining table in the cabin, you also have a corner seat with a dining table directly above the water on the terrace, under a shady sail . The hut is located in the nature reserve and is surrounded by water and reeds. Der Neusiedler See and the old town of Rust are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. With this, UNESCO attributes an "extraordinary value for all of mankind" to the cultural landscape of Lake Neusiedl.
