The "No News - No Shoes" Lifestyle
The private sea huts are located in the Bay of Rust and can be reached via a wooden footbridge (even without a boat). The reed-roofed lake huts are around 38 m² in size and stand on an approximately 100 m² wooden plateau right in the water of Lake Neusiedl. The chalets in the lake are for maximum 4 people bookable, where the space is limited by the tent shape of the roof. But anyway, life mostly takes place outdoors. The romantic holiday homes are fully equipped with mosquito protection grilles and offer you air conditioning and heating.
Our cottages have a ground floor bedroom with a double bed. The other double bed is romantically located under the roof of the hut and can be reached with a ladder (except "Villa" where we have a pull-out sofa). These beds are not recommended for people with limited mobility. The exact equipment of each individual lake hut can be found under the menu "lake huts" in the navigation.
Glamping - Back to Nature
A small kitchen, dishwasher, refrigerator and a Nespresso machine are available. Please note that the size of the huts is more reminiscent of a sailing or camping holiday and that the space in the hut is quite limited.
If you book such a holiday, you are consciously booking the reduced and simple and not a luxury holiday. By the way, we discovered the furnishings for the Seehütte Neusiedlersee all over the world. Old teak benches from Bali, a beautiful chest from India and wonderful dining tables from Burgenland.
Enjoy - Relax - Swimming
Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the lake, cycling along the many cycle paths that lead around Lake Neusiedl, or swimming and boating - the opportunities around Lake Neusiedl are as diverse as the people who visit the lake. All our lake huts are directly in the water, but can be reached without getting wet via a wooden footbridge that leads romantically through the reeds. Depending on the hut, a large sun deck, chill-out lounge chairs or a sun island with upholstered cushions that invite you to sunbathe and relax await you on your private terrace. The Romantik Chalets are located in the nature reserve of Lake Neusiedl, which - like the old town of Rust - is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With this, UNESCO attributes an "extraordinary value for all of mankind" to the cultural landscape of Lake Neusiedl.
Boat included free of charge
Each of our Chalets has an electric boat, which we are happy to provide free of charge during your stay - if the water level permits! Please note, however, that you are liable for damage to the boat and trips are only possible if the water level is high enough and the boat is ready to use. As we are happy to provide you with our boat free of charge (no extra charge!), please note that if it is not possible to use the boat (e.g. because the water level is too low or the boat is technically not ready to be used), there will be no refund for the unused boat. The boat does not require a driving license to be operated, but is only allowed from 18 years onwards. The use is at your own risk and liability.

Der Neusiedlersee ist bekannt für seinen schlammigen Untergrund. Um unseren Gästen ein optimales Schwimmvergnügen vor den Seehütten zu gewährleisten, haben wir heuer über den Winter den gesamten Schwimmbereich vor den Seehütten komplett vom Schlamm absaugen und befreien lassen. Dabei wird mit einem speziellen Schlammsauger bis zum festen Untergrund des Sees abgesaugt. Ein Luxus, den Sie in den Seehütten Neusiedlersee genießen.
The old town of Rust, the Neusiedler Lake, delicious food and wine
The old town of Rust, the city of storks, can be easily reached on foot in about 15 minutes. There you will find a large selection of wine taverns, restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlors. Numerous award-winning wineries and winegrowers can be found in the immediate vicinity of the Seehütte in Lake Neusiedl. Two supermarkets, a bakery and a delicatessen are right in town. Thanks to the mild, Pannonian climate, Rust is not only an ideal travel destination in summer but especially in spring and autumn.
